My entry will hardly be "spring-y" today either, and because I had no access to SF (couldn't get access to the website this AM), I'll have to post after work. Did others have access problems to SF from yesterday evening onwards?

We need to talk about those jeans.

The weather's been glorious recently. Bright sunshine, and almost 20C when in the sunlight, so...

SPRING CHALLENGE ENTRY (actually worn yesterday)





And what I'm actually wearing today:

Was wondering about the PS w/ jeans...looks good. The more I look at it, I think I only like the SC and the shoes. Don't worry about the weather. Spotted 2 big flocks of geese flying in this morning during dog walk. Warm temps around the corner.

It could be the windowpane lines that are creating a visual effect...but that SC looks very long.

Spoo, let me start by saying that your looks are almost always spot on, especially in terms of fit. Today is no exception, but you need better jeans!

I know. That game needs stepping up.

One bus driver special coming right up: Other Bus Drivers can't compete; Sterling buckle monogrammed, Alligator belt. And yes, those buttons are shell and horn!

Not the most fashionable, but perfectly acceptable. Is it the fading that makes them "dad" jeans? It can't be the rise, which is far from unacceptable. The straight leg?

Spoo, you need some RRL slim fits that are about 5 years old and have been washed until holes have shown up with patches sewn inside to fix the holes with something like an old handkerchief.

Or at least a new pair to start with.

I've washed mine about 4 times now and have just recently started using them while doing manual labor so that they'll break in more, some of my coworkers have some awesome jeans.

Spring Challenge. Of course, I am probably one of the few guys on here that is actually getting some Spring weather today.

See my fit for the poor man's version of this (blue knit tie, pink square). I'm a recovering denim head, but even I don't think these jeans are that terrible. That said, I have lots of suggestions if you decide to go down that rabbit hole. That suit is badass, and the combo up top is really strong. I love the shoes, but not with this fit. Here's my entry for today's challenge. I'm stoked at how these thrifted Alden medallion cap toes turned out after a vigorous shine.

Very nice combination!


One question. Why don't you wear cuffs? It would seem to add a touch of detail to your pants?
