You're absolutely right, my legs are a bit on the short side for my height. I think you're also correct in saying a more "traditional" rise would better suit my build. I also have to stop shopping at trendy stores, the narrow lapels and low-rise pants are so ubiquitous I'm starting to think they're normal. Sadly, I agree. I basically started trying to build a wardrobe from scratch less than a month ago, so I'm still going to have some losers. I'm posting them anyway in the hopes of better differentiating the two. I take some consolation in the fact that I knew it was step back from yesterday's outfit. At least I'm learning. Fun fact: It's actually the same pocket square. It's edged in red on two sides, and blue on two sides. I didn't want to repeat yesterday's PS, so I decided to puff instead of the blue-edged flat fold. I went back to the blue edge. I'm waiting on like 7 ties and 5 pocket squares from various SFers. Having a hard time finding anything I like (and can afford) locally.

Personally I like my OCBDs to have a bit more collar, but yours is tried, trad, & true. Orgetorix, I can't get beyond the vest. Not sure if that's good or bad. Just is. Pwn - nothing wrong with narrow lapels, but if the jacket's too short, it's definitely casual. I wouldn't even bother buttoning the jacket. If a proper looking suit is desired, make sure that when the jacket is buttoned, you don't see any shirt underneath. Banis - sweet suit. Flannel? PandArts - you need new ties

Yeah, this was intended to be a bit more casual. I didn't mean the jacket to come off as formal at all. Honestly, I don't need to wear a jacket or tie at work, so I can dress it down as much as I want (within reason). I still prefer a "proper looking suit" when I can though.

I like the elements of today's fit. That is a cool club collar. I think if the shirt was a lighter color, less busy pattern, it would have paired better.

Did Freddy recommend this style collar for you? I think you could benefit from a slightly wider spread. Nothing drastic, but enough to tuck those points under the lapels.

I haven't owned a pair of white or off white jeans since 1988, but I think I might just go out and get a pair.

It think it is the way I was wearing it when the camera went off. The tie was off center too. But I will talk to him about it thanks
