You get a pass on the felt flower...since you were the original!

That tie makes me rethink my aversion to paisley.

It's stopped raining in NYC, but the temperatures are more appropriate to February than to late March. Tomorrow's challenge of "Spring" is going to be a real challenge, insulation-wise.

But, for the moment, here's today's fit (note - another ancient madder tie - no shine to make the natives restless, and not in a good way).

Hahaha. Honestly, I had walked through a lot of snow and sludge that day. But even on clear days, we Canadians don't like to wear our shoes in the home. I have a particular disdain for the practice.

Thanks for all the advice everyone.

Looks like I woke my pocket square up too early I hate finding an inch of snow on the ground, but glad it lets me get some more flannel mileage.

SomeotherStyle Killing as always.

Urban Llikewise, I dig the double dimple and love the jacket.

Spoo Glad to see you getting some more milage out of that sweet new flannel, very nice.

PG So, THAT'S how those ties are made to look good! And in decisions on dinner date night...always defer to the lady....you're not going to be staring loveingly into the eyes of the SF Goons over a full bodied cab....or, at least, I hope not!

Spoo, you're getting dangerously close to CBD territory with that rig. I think the square takes you back into safe territory, though.

Good to see cuffs atop your shoes, too.

^ One of my favorite lessons from SF is that gentlemen refer to suits as rigs. /threadjack

I may be a lone naysayer here... But the whole rig is a little too monochromatic for my taste. (To each guido his own, clearly.) And, I'm coming to believe that leaving the Bs in BDs UBD looked swell the first 100 times we saw it, but not so much anymore.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I like this very much, although I am not in love with the square. I think it is the fold more than anything.

Trying to conjure up spring with linen and flowers while still making my peace with Old Man Winter's stubborn presence.
