Proof that PG is human with a slightly out of focus up top, and not optimally lit photo.

I will make sure I crosspost in that thread

Friday - 70 degrees in NY. Monday - major snowstorm.

Anyhow, first wearing of new tie by my new Mystery Bespoke Tiemaker.
Fabric is a 350 warp Vanners silk, unlined 6 fold. For more pics, see my post in the "Recent Purchases" thread.
Whatcha think?

Adonis DNA in your jacket tailoring today, I see, Spoo - quite a built up-chest I think the necktie has a nice hand, as far as I can tell. I think that for some of the lapels you wear, like today's, you could commission a 4" width - even that doesn't teeter over into the kipper zone, I've found Interesting socks, by the way - do you mind if I ask who the maker is?

The extra photo will show the original selection of tie, but I am simply tired and bored of solids - do forgive me. FWIW, then , and have at it, gentlemen. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
And now back to regularly scheduled programming. The rectangular-sized cufflinks turn the volume down compared to the oval ones you normally sport. You have to move further up and notice the paperclip tie pin to experience Crusty's sartorial whammy bar.

Nice. I am happy there are others in the pink shirt brigade.

Looks good Spoo. New camera, or is this still iPhone action? It looks better, whatever is going on and I like the slightly lower angle.

Sadly no full shot, they all came out blurry and I'm not getting dressed again to take pics. Just grey trousers down low and normal black oxfords. I'm enjoying this tie though.[/quote]

Was planning to wear a new pair of grey flannel trousers tomorrow but wondered how the SF would view it now that it is "officially" spring. However, I see a few postings with winter garb. I am trying to squeeze a few more weeks out of the winter clothing.

Well, it is officially Spring, so why not have some fun.

Kuhlman SC
Rugby Oxford Club Collar
J. Crew tie
Polo Oxford pants
Bass Weejuns

Have a great Monday!

You can always count on me for a positive comment with almost anything that has purple in it. I like the bright colors, and now that we are in spring I think it is especially acceptable. However, take it with a grain of salt as I have not earned any status of having style on this forum!
