+1 - Mike's suits have been very nice lately, and while I like the Vintage Wright's etc., the shoe game could use some work.

I think spoozy is the only one who can do the cardigan thing here I'll stick to navy from now on. It was H&M btw.

Needs narrower jeans & narrower tie. Possibly a lighter cardigan? As is, a little rough around the edges.

Do you have a source for a bow tie that is a little larger than average in terms of height, but not wide? I like the idea of floppy bow ties, but all the ones I find are either too big all around or too "stiff".

MUCH better. The cardigan was really throwing things off, esp. with the sockless loafers. I would still save those (very cool) loafers for a different look though. They're going to be great in summer with light tan trousers, for instance. I like the trousers by the way... I have something in the pipeline that's vaguely along that theme that I think will divide the audience... Was thinking about using today's pic for the challenge tomorrow, as I quite like how it's turned out, but I'm probably more to be found in suits so I figure I'll wear that tomorrow instead. So today:
Without realising it was St Patrick's, I see I picked out a dark green tie. I have zero connection to Ireland so never really got into the whole green for St Paddy's Day thing. But my unconscious mind moves in mysterious ways...

I agree. However with today, I was going for this :

Definitely better, but I find the pants and tie are too much together.

HF, love that RL SC.

^ +1 Great look today, HF. Spoo, don't show Trini any more loafers.

All of the trenchant comments have already been made about today's fits...

Do you see how the helmet is pushing down my collar? How do other people deal with this?

Is this the "I have $7500 shoes and a $7000 suit on and I am so baller I will walk through mud and ruin them both to prove it" look?

That is a great look though, sans the fucking mud...and maybe the Cuban heels. I could use heels like that though.

Mike

The fit is good. I'm doing casual today, as well. The problem with casual is that it is not as interesting as the full-on suit+tie pictures others post.

Everything is great except the too-short pants.

This is great.

This is good, and if the tie was wool it would be very good.

Not bad at all, but I'm thinking a more muted/burnt orange PS might have been better.

BTW - what is tomorrow's challenge?

I've got no meetings tomorrow, so might be able to take part rather than continue to fail (but learn) at CBD for a day.
Very casual and relaxed today. Probably one of the last days of wearing these cotton/cashmere cords.
