Yup - Sartorial Executive/Rayner & Sturges. And I got a few more in the mail today! Very happy indeed; I just washed and ironed them and they're looking great. Pre-wash pic below (click for larger image): Actually the green and pink are old shirts with new contrast collars (they needed replacing and I fancied a change), while the red check is also old but now has button cuffs instead of french cuffs, so I didn't need to wash any of those. The others are all new though.

Welcome. I can't help your search for a good London alterations tailor, but hopefully someone else will chime in soon.

Interesting. I usually like purple ties, but I'm not quite feeling it with this suit. Perhaps a slightly lighter shade/accents would have swung it for me.

This seems to fit better than one or two other of your suits. It's sometimes tricky to tell which suit is which, but I think I've noticed this one fitting better before.

I am not a fan of the tie. Suit seems to have quite a strong sheen to it, but it may just be the photo glare. The shirt seems quite versatile. Keep going! Casual today... the white jumper is one of my favourites:
Apologies for the somewhat dodgy pose...

This is my newest suit by Ben Sherman. It's their King's Fit in 36R so not as slim fitting as my H&M suits but still with nice structure and silhouette. It's also a wool/linen blend as opposed to the polyblends of my other suits. I'm still getting used to the way it wears, especially the slightly wider legs in the trou but I think I'd buy more of these.

Here's a slightly better overall shot:

Right now I'm really looking at color combinations that I wouldn't normally go for. More lay people shoot for the matchy-matchy combinations and I've been no different. So I'm looking for feedback on this combination. Also, until I get the three pairs of shoes I've ordered, there will be no need to show what I'm currently wearing to cover up the pigs.

Also, part of the re-tooling process will include PS purchases very soon. This combination screams for one. Thanks in advance gents and apologies for the lack of studio photo quality.

The tie is your biggest problem here. Way too busy, way too light. Dark tie, close to solid..maybe a little pattern, and this would be vastly improved.

I won't argue. Most of my shoes are more of the classic American style that were purchased with the intention of going with my former obsession with Ralph Lauren. With my new move towards Italian stuff, they are lagging behind. Improving this is on the list.

Thanks, HF. I have worn this suit before, in your Nature Challenge to be precise, and the crickets were out in force. If I knew it would be received so well today, I may have saved it for Friday. As is, Friday will see the return of a favorite for what may be the last hurrah of the season.....

Slightly more tapered jeans would be better with the shoes, and they're a bit long - maybe cuffing them would work?

The subdued palette of your fits requires better photography, Ob5cur1ty. It's hard to get a feel for the subtleties of what you're doing (which I suspect are pretty nice). Outdoor pics, maybe?

Yeah it is a bit fuller but not by much. I'm toying with the idea of having it shaped just a bit. I love a nice slim fit but also like to have the option of fuller cut as well.

Looks like a blue tie with a navy suit? If so, select a tie with a classic color combination that compliments navy such as burgundy with some other colors in it like blues and whites, maybe gold or tans.
