I like how the purple tie gives everything else a purplish hue. Very cool. It stands out though, so if you want criticism, maybe pop this over to the CBD thread. Love the shoes and the tie. Are those... Balmoral longwings?

I am generally never at a loss for comments on my attire - it seems my stylistic excesses are like catnip for some of the local natives, engendering a good deal of criticism (some of it constructive - seen in yesterday's post, the alterations of my suit improved its appearance greatly, which were initiated by critiques from its previous posting).

As for the purple, the windowpane pattern of my suit is lavender, and I do think that white, blue, purple and grey look good together.

I like it all, Banis. You have some divot issues though.

Because we can't see your expression, the pose, combined with being surrounded by all that heavy luggage gives you the impression of the weight of the world being upon you. I hope that instead you're off somewhere relaxing rather than stressful!

I will be interested to read what people think about the jacket length here. It looks good/pleasing to my eye, but given my bias towards marginally longer jackets, I wonder if that opinion will be shared by others.

LOL! No not all the time as they can be quite pricey here. My gf's dad gave me a couple of packs when we were over for Sunday dinner. I did, however, used to smoke them more frequently back in the 90's when I travelled more to England. Oh, not French just a plain ole midwesternerer

Wow, fantastic color combination here, especially the light grey flannels book-ended with the brown jacket and similar brown suede shoes. I'm impressed by the fact that all of these are classic pieces yet the way you put it together looks "fresh". Very inspiring!

Trying to get into the Spring spirit.

Nice suit and tie. Can you to try a white linen pocket square? I think you have plenty of detail and pattern going on. Probably a bit too much. The white pocket square should dial down the complexity just enough to make it look its best.

I like everything but this tie. I don't think the fuscia in the tie sits well with the pants.
