Nice fit today, mellow colors but the pattern mixing takes it up a notch, and that is a serious shine on those Nettletons

Acridsheep, I concur with everyone else. The DB looks good. The tie, however, just doesn't work.

UC, the vest and coat are great, but your shirt collar looks gigantic. Less would be more, especially with the small scale of the vest and the skinny coat lapels.

Thanks everyone. So weird that the tie fails. It's a thrifted Ferragamo, and, IRL looks quite lovely. Can anyone tell me what makes it look retro?

All that matters is if it works or not...and IMHO it really works. I certainly would not recommend it for an ultra-conservative office setting though.

I don't know...with the peak lapels looking so sharp, I think the silk softens the look a bit.
