naah - no drama. i made a joke about a Spoo vs Spoozy collabo fit from the weekend. Spoo and I went back and forth a bit on here and via texts about the use of smileys and how they diffuse the sting in a post etc etc.

just playing off of that to pull Spoo's leg.

he is a good sport, i think.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, smilies cover a multitude of sins, it's true...

And the shoes? Like Mercury's winged footwear, they should not be worn by mere mortals. But you sir, are at least a Suited Demigod, so you get a pass.

(Oh OK...I can't pass up a cheap shot...Vanity Smurf called...he wants his shoes back!!!)

Hardy har.

The tie is 2.75. Its a Panta. It is narrow, but I like it on the square tip knits.

Thanks - the perils of the self timer app I dont know inside out yet.. But I assure you both are just trompe l'oeil.

(just so you know i'm not trying to be a jerk)

Deets on the monks? And pics? PM/text me if you want.

Thanks, it's one of my favorites. Alas, I can't be too specific, but I can send you in the right direction. All of my shirts are MTM by Joe Hemrajani (MyTailor.com). It was one of the first shirts I ordered, and I don't recall which book the cloth came out of. I wouldn't be surprised if it were still available.

I've been quite happy with all of the shirts they've made for me, and have referred friends as well. Will from A Suitable Wardrobe also has his shirts made by Joe.

I always forget about my silk knots. Thanks for the reminder. Sorry you don't like the socks...

I can't remember the maker of the tie. It's some Italian name that sounds like it's trying to evoke Giorgio Armani, but could very well be a legitimate brand. I think I got it at Nordstrom Rack or similar nearly 15 years ago.
