Thanks C- The sweater is bright, but I needed a jolt of color today. Been a soporific week, relatively speaking

No, but I do get Roger Daltry quite a bit. Still not enough to convince me to wear a perm.

I'll echo Aeglus' sentiments: if you can find one (which may be next to impossible) I think you might benefit from a slightly shorter jacket, or perhaps more open quarters. As it stands, the length of the jacket cuts off your legs a bit too much.

Still, this wouldn't be the first time that I am at odds with the Sf consensus, even if I am right!

This "Turkey Triangle" that you refer to is a PG term. I think you may be using it incorrectly though. Sometimes a jacket has open quarters and even if it fits perfectly, you can still see a triangle of material below the buttoning point. Not every jacket closes up like a bank vault when buttoned.

I like your fit as well, Aeglus. Also, I 100% agree with you on belts. If I am wearing a jacket at all, not just a suit, I don't wear a belt. Personally, I find them uncomfortable. I have my pants altered to fit, which means I don't need a belt to hold them up. Further, they destroy the nice vertical line of a suit. Finally, I don't want that bulge of a buckle showing below my button when my jackets are closed up...which is always, except when sitting. There is nothing worse IMHO than a buckle bulge ruining the cleanliness of a buttoned jacket.

Yeah, the Nutter does convey that thought quite well.

I think it honestly weighs close to 10. Lightweight it is not. Now that I see NOBD's Challenge I am kinda pissed. This would be a perfect Nucky Thompson fit. Damn, do I dare bust it out two weeks in a row?

Thanks for your comments, guys. I'm aware this and for that matter most of my jackets fit a bit long. It's due to the fact most are Zara numbers which aren't available in short. I'm already preparing to go MTM which is my only choice in this sartorial wasteland. As for the stacked pants, They're new and I knew they would need a bit more shortening the minute I put them on. Sure my wife said they look better thanmy no break ones cuz the socks don't show when walking. Lol!!!
