After my first two posts in this thread, I bought new shoes and a new suit. Please tell me what you think about it, especially about the fit of the suit. Please ignore the length of the jacket sleeves and the pants - I bought the suit two hours ago.

Probably not suitable for FU challenge, but enough FU to the usual dress standards in this li'l island. Oh, and yes, it is (always) hot enough for linen!!
Nice HF. You must one day share you secret for the grand lapels you're usually sporting. Also, deets on the shirt please???

Thanks! Forgive me answering both these two together. About 70% of my suits/jackets are Ede & Ravenscroft (MTM or bespoke). Most of the rest are RLPL, with a few other scattered makers. That suit is Ede MTM, from some years ago, but it still fits pretty well. About 90% of my shirts (including that one) are Rayner & Sturges bespoke, ordered from Sartorial Executive. The collar shape is adjusted a bit from standard to my preference. To those that felt the tie/PS clashed too much; yeah, probably true.
So, yeah, the guy on the left is a famous internet blogger. But who's the fellow in the middle? Cool photo, dude. Will looks sharp, too.

FU... and awesome! Dug into the back of the closet for the FU contest. I tend to wear this more in summer, it being unlined, but it's a fairly heavy wool, so with a waistcoat, it can work on cooler days too. Probably the leeriest jacket I have. Bunnies and seals on the tie may be kawaii rather than FU, however, so apologies for sending out mixed messages...
You can also see why I like a little structure/shoulder-padding in my jackets. This one has none, and just look at that shoulder/sleevehead. My build definitely needs a smidgen of assistance!
And we thought you worked from home... Oh, and BTW, try explaining that bidness to IBJanky: "You see officer, I was stopped at this light taking an *elements* photo for SF, when this B-Atch behind me start honking her horn, so I whipped out my 18kt solid gold/diamond encrusted derringer and busted a cap in her stupid-fuckin-Lexus-SUV."

The shirt and tie are all kinds of wrong but I'm chalking that up to throwing something on to get some ides on the fit of the suit....
I would suggest you get the jacket waist taken in a little and the jacket should be work. On the pants, it looks like you have pretty big calves based on the fit of the pants at that level. However, it looks a little loose through the thigh area so a tapering should provide a better fit although you could certainly get away with it after the length is dealt with. Nice simple style on the shoes and I like the socks as well.
Thank you, gentlemen - and just think, NORE can read this thread until the 28th of February, without resorting to massive doses of Pepto-Bismol due to my photographic presence. Life is good for all . . .

A strong candidate for FU SC, that light-emitting diode of a garment - it's even a shade vivid when the reflective threads aren't caught by a flashbulb .
I think this competition should be modified to require contestants add two pieces of information: 1) When the jacket was acquired; 2) What narcotic had been consumed just prior to acquisition. That is all.
