Maybe. I wondered whether I should have added a tie or chosen a coloured shirt instead, but removing the PS would also probably have solved the slight "no-man's-land effect" I see in the outfit now.

I politely disagree. I don't think there's anything "No-man-landish" about this fit. The PS for me adds a touch of color that ties in nicely with shoes.
