Strong entry (all the more so for going sans tie)... but I can't help feeling that non-stacky jeans would work better with the top half.
Thanks. Tie with jeans rarely works. I don't really like really slim jeans without stacking though because it ends up looking imbalanced. My straights all have very little stacking though.
Thanks for the vote of confidence. The flash is definitely staying (at least for interior shots, and my schedule doesn't really allow for same-day exterior shots), and I'm too old and stubborn to stray too far from my established style, though not so entrenched that I might not learn something from the other posters here.

(p.s., I actually prefer the shots with the flash)
I like it - something I would wear (minus the purple stripe).
thanks, sir.

Ha! I went with a shorter hair style late last year but I missed the long glory, so it's back. Guess my avatar gives it away who my hair role model is...

Some people wear non-suede shoes most of the times and sometimes suede; for me it's the other way around. I just like them more.
As for the scarves: I wear them every day in autumn/winter (and sometimes in spring). Whenever the weather allows me to skip the overcoat, I wear a jacket with a scarf.
