^Love the shoes. Are they black suede? Ever since Bmulford posted a pair of black suede shoes a few years back I've always wanted some, but never found the "right" ones.
Thanks. The shoes are actually very dark chocolate brown. I do also own a black suede pair, but they are slightly less plain than these in terms of form.

+1. The tie is already fairly casual/attention drawing. A plain white PS would go nicely with the rest. Also, a full length shot would be nice. Good start though!

Thanks, I'll see what I actually end up wearing on Friday and then decide whether or not to cheat.

You've got the right idea in terms of combining but it seems (as for as I can tell from the pics) that you need to work a bit on fit - both jacket and trousers look like they're a little too large. Welcome.

Hoe doe je dat?!
Contrast en verzadiging licht opgeschroefd en verscherpt (Unsharp Mask). Je foto's lijken wat mat uit de camera te komen, dus je zou ze op deze manier een handje kunnen helpen.
Today's photos are with flash, and letting the camera make all the color decisions, which seems to work better than my poor efforts. The lighting is emphatic, but the colors are pretty true to life - my cirrhosis of the liver seems to have disappeared overnight at least
For some reason the watch on the right wrist always annoys me. Not in a Black Eyed Peas kind of way, but disconcerting nonetheless. I am turning into my father.

Bedankt voor het advies. Toegepast vandaag... Resultaat mag je zelf beoordelen.

Not actually worn today, but I'm trying to figure out how to wear these pants. The are brighter green than they appear in the photos.
I like.
That shade of blue for the jacket works nicely with it. Interesting accent colours could include a bright pink (on the cooler rather than hotter side of pink), and maybe even a little orange. Light/Mid-brown (walnut-ish sort of shade, or lighter) shoes would be good too. Nice colour to play off, certainly.
Far too early a start for me today. That, plus almost no natural light, means it took longer than usual to take the photos, and they still needed a lot of artificial lightening. Still, FWIW...
