I agree. I said this before Upr_crust, your wonderful and fresh outfits are let down by your not so fresh frames.

Aha! So it was YOU who suggested the Persol frames - I remember the comment, but couldn't remember who made it (or find your posting in this thread, which is very heavily populated).

As I said to Ich Dien, I am very open to hearing people's suggestions with reference to this - and I would like to hear what people's suggestions as to "wonderful and fresh" frames.

Agree with the response! Although I don't post here and rarely comment, I follow this thread regularly and always find your fits (especially of late) to be a big help in giving me ideas as I work on my developing my own style. Keep it up, PanDarts!

Yes it was me, I did quote your picture so you wouldn't miss my post but I can understand sifting through this thread is an awful task. I stand by my suggestions of the Persol PO2876V or PO2825V's.

I have to ask, do you wear a new shirt everyday/post or is that how your laundry returns shirts?

As you wish, Teh Spoo.

Today's entry:

Just a garden variety linen PS, but where I usually wear a TV fold, I went a little more....poofy today, since the rest of the look is very conservative.

FWIW, then . . .

I love that tie.

I don't think the pants need cuffs at all. Nice, sharp application of corduroy.

Now that is how you break in a new pair of shoes.

^Please keep posting. Your subdued style is one to admire and needed to temper some of the ridiculous group think that occurs here. While part of WAYWN is obviously to put up fits and have them critiqued etc., I think it's also a place to just post fodder for people to waste time at work. One of the reasons I started posting fits (along with wanting feedback) was because many of the regulars stopped posting and the thread was pretty stagnant. I realize most of my fits are average, boring, or god forbid, lack a PS, but I had lurked for years and wanted to contribute and be an addition to thread (in hopes that some would start posting again), rather than complaining about how shitty the trhead had gotten or requesting posters to keep posting.

My laundry folds my shirts, which isn't always kind to the cuffs, but I have much more drawer/shelf space than hanging space - hence the somewhat rumpled look of my shirts on occasion. One would hope that you are not attempting to cast aspersions on my personal habits, no?

Rgoldstein - thanks for the compliment on the tie, BTW.
