It's been a great run for purple lately. Kudos to Crusty, Spoo (just get a purple sweater w/o a logo), and of course Neo. When spring comes (if ever), I will DTO your orange and purple combos. Who made the orange coat?

@VlV, the SC fabric is great, but I think the vest takes things over the top.

This is really good, the pattern and colors of the sportcoat are fantastic. Patch pocket perfection.

Figuring out whether to darken flash photos with the new camera, or to lighten photos will take some test shooting, which is not a timely thing to do on a Monday morning.

As for the shoes, they are To Boot NY, from the summer Saks clearance sale - stolen at a most advantageous price.

I'm always surprised how well the unusual combination of peak lapels and patch pockets works on that jacket Spoo, esp. when you combine it with a good colour scheme like today. The double-square is nutty, but the colours are well-chosen, so nice one! No pic from me today (cue a chorus of cheers); I was in jeans & an odd jacket, so I'm going to save it up to post as my entry into this week's contest this Friday (cue a chorus of groans), unless I do something similar again between now and them.

This is one sassy looking pocket square! But, isn't that what pocket squares are supposed to do? Great combination of color and patterns.

I'd try to stay away from the (camera) flash. The auto white balance seems off (or are the walls yellowish?); maybe try a different setting (based on the type of light you use).

If you have the room to put the camera further away from you and zoom in a bit, that would help improve the pics as well.

One of the better fits posted here recently. Very nice.

There has to be a voice of dissent on this fit... and I guess it's just mine. I realise you were probably going for a 'riot of colour/pattern', but for me this was just too much. The shot sans jacket looked great however - the purple jumper on it's own giving just the right amount of visual pop.

Stop this consistent excellence at once.

Still hanging out at home this week. If retirement is anything like this, I can't wait.

T shirt is actually a slightly darker/less pinkish red than it appears here (at least on my monitor).

Your "down a notch" is my redline. Still, this is a great fit for you. That combination makes the cufflinks accents, not focal points. I like it.



As usual, very well done. The true wizards here turn clothing I'd never even look at for myself and make it something I suddenly need to have right this damn second.


Stellar, as usual, though I think I prefer you in slightly darker colors. That is strictly my personal preference however, and should rightly be summarily dismissed.
