I'm always surprised how well the unusual combination of peak lapels and patch pockets works on that jacket Spoo, esp. when you combine it with a good colour scheme like today. The double-square is nutty, but the colours are well-chosen, so nice one! No pic from me today (cue a chorus of cheers); I was in jeans & an odd jacket, so I'm going to save it up to post as my entry into this week's contest this Friday (cue a chorus of groans), unless I do something similar again between now and them.
One of the better fits posted here recently. Very nice.

There has to be a voice of dissent on this fit... and I guess it's just mine. I realise you were probably going for a 'riot of colour/pattern', but for me this was just too much. The shot sans jacket looked great however - the purple jumper on it's own giving just the right amount of visual pop.
I also decided to relax a bit in my selection of attire - last Friday's getup was a bit OTT even for my tastes. We shall see how successful I was in "dialing it down a notch".
Warning: Spoiler!(Click to show)
Your "down a notch" is my redline. Still, this is a great fit for you. That combination makes the cufflinks accents, not focal points. I like it.
The walls are a cream color, but not as yellowish as the photos look. I'll have to check the white balance - as I've only started playing with the camera this weekend, I'm still low on the learning curve. I would like to avoid the flash - I get enough negative feedback on shiny surfaces in my photos as it is, and I don't mind a bit of chiaroscuro, if the rest of the color range is correct.
Unhappily, my living room is a typical NYC apartment - long, narrow rooms, and if I change the locality of the photo setup, the world will see what a sty the place really is

If you have the room to put the camera further away from you and zoom in a bit, that would help improve the pics as well.
Yeah, my place faces west so I only have good light in the afternoon. I want to do good WAYWRN photos, but lighting is an issue and I don't have a tripod, or anybody to take pictures of me. If my lady is over I am always gone before she wakes up. I would feel silly asking coworkers...
