Why, Michael, whatever do you mean? And what substance would I be squeegeeing off my screen? Explain yourself . . .

Bargain brands, my friend. Andrew Fezza (read: Men's Wearhouse) micro-suede jacket. Black Brown (read: Lord & Taylor) sweater.

hey MC, SWDer in need of help. ive worn a suit probably two or three times in my life, but I recently found myself in need and this is the pre-alterations result. the suit is designer (margiela) but based on my limited knowledge the cut seems rather classic. its a size 50. i think the jacket fits quite well but the pants look like a hot mess. clearly they need to be hemmed and taken in at the waist, but Im also pretty sure Im gonna slim them down throughout the leg. anyway here are some pics, taken at a few different angles. all advice as to fit and necessary alterations welcomed.

^ Difficult to judge the jacket's fit with it unbuttoned. Shoulders and sleeves look OK; waist could use some suppression, I think. Pants definitely need to be shortened and slimmed.

Very dapper look for a young guy. Interesting mixture of textures. The sleeves on the suit might be a bit short, but it could be the way you are standing.

With the snow falling and a fit battle in progress, I figure it is about time to finally post the pictures I intended to use for the Pitti Challenge. My Blue Challenge look is actually fairly subdued for me. The following look reflects more what I wear on a daily basis and is an outfit I would have worn if I had attended the Pitto Uomo show like originally planned.

So without further ado, I'll steal some fabric from Neofinitia and stand in front of a Danish flag (actually an abandoned school):

Sorry the pictures are a little washed out. Need to work on that.

I will edit back in product information when I have a little more time; if people are interested.

I also took some photos with some more "sprezzatura" to the look. I think people over worked sprezz in terms of the contest but I decided to have a little fun with it anyway. Don't worry; I would never wear the suit like that in public.

The pictures are so ridiculous; look only if you dare...

Mr. Claymore, I suggest that you look at the photos that I posted for the previous Friday challenge - you're wearing a grey glen plaid double-breasted suit in your photos - I'm wearing a three-piece grey glen plaid single-breasted suit - the similarity of fabric is quite striking - quite ironic.

Great look, but for God's sake, get a decent watch that doesn't say Tommy Hilfiger on the dial
