The really true blazer today is a DB, that's right. The question is more how strict to the rule you play it. We have SB as well and they're usually accepted as blazers. Even the rule on the number of buttons I mentioned is obviously not holy as one can see with Brooks Brothers' "Two-Button Blazer."

I agree with everything UC said. I think you demonstrate that each person really has to find their own silhouette and style, which you clearly seem to have done. I also always look forward to your contributions, as they're always part of each week's best. No need to be humble about it.
