Nice stuff. Like gnatty says, it seems that you've found a style that suits your personality and when that happens, clothes automatically look better because you pick items to wear within a preferred and comfortable-to-you range. Well done.

Yeah, it looks nice but the problems with it that I mentioned means I don't wear it as often as I should. The same goes for another tie I have by the same maker.


From what we can see, I like this. There's a certain comfortable worn-in quality to this. I think the nature of the photo helps this, but still, I think it's there anyway.

I know what you mean...my sweater rotation is very limited and it always seems like when I do wear one it needs to be a couple shades lighter or darker

I think you hit the proverbial nail on the head with that...I'm far more selective now when choosing items...is the collar right...are the lapels just the right width...does the jacket have enough waist suppression...etc., I learned to ask those questions from hanging out here and I think I've finally learned how to answer them and apply what I've learned. But like I've said before I like to play so expect a few Out-Of-Right-Field looks from me from time to time

Caught that did you? That's my sneeky accessory placement. This is by far my fav of all my pens (all three that is); it's a one-off handmade job I picked up in a small shop in Lake Geneva, WI nearly 12 years ago and I love the ink flow.
