As abrasive as he was, his "expertise" seemed to be based on decades of real life experience and studied princples of a more timeless way of dressing, rather than scoring a bunch of shit at the outlet mall and nailing the SF-approved trends over the course of a few months. LOL
I agree mostly. However, don't knock the outlet mall - you can get some next-level shit there. I scored some RLPL Peccary / Cashmere gloves for $40.00 just a couple of weeks ago - absurd MSRP was $599.00. (Dolphin Mall in Miami - not a big glove-selling locale which explains the enormous discount).
TB: Jeans on a school day?? Looks good! NYR: Damn that sweater looks comfy. fullb: Love the cut of everything, but I feel like the pants are a touch long. The slimness helps hide this. SOS: Maker of the PS?
SOS what color are those pants? I love the top of the look but I kind of wish it was a suit so the pants would match. Then again I'm not a big fan of SC's so you should probably ignore me
I'm puzzled by the praise this fit received. The lapel looks like it's been ironed flat, exposing the underside of the top button hole. Tie knot needs some work too. That aside, the fair isle socks combo with the grey flannel trousers and the shoes is great!

Beautiful contrast between the tie and the charcoal flannel and the matching with the PS edges.
