I've thought about getting a beater from LE as I find their stuff is usually pretty good quality and from time to time they offer deals that would make it an extremely cheap purchase...

Yeah it is. Jacket has not been touched (including, unfortunately, the sleeves...need them taken up an inch or so). It is a very trim cut.

Rob - nice classic colour combo and fit. Let me tell you this in the hopes that it provides some 'cold comfort' as it were... I am in Winnipeg, Canada. My driveway is almost 100'. The piles of snow at the sides are almost as tall as I am - it's like driving between two walls of Ice to get to the street... The temperature with windchill this morning was -32 C. About a week before it was reaching almost -40. I am in winter hell.
