Who is Bruce Boyer?

On the advice of some of you gentlemen, I've taken today's shots without flash, and with a tripod. The tripod is fine, if a bit awkward to see the finished results easily while photographing, but the documentary aspects of photos without flash I find a bit wanting - there will be flash tomorrow.

For your perusal, then . . .

Thanks. I thought that the combo of shirt and tie worked and played well together.

Acrid - nice SC - me like - deets?

The shirt is Lewin, the tie is Thomas Pink, and long enough such that I had to make a half-Windsor in order that the blade not end around my knees.

Much better perspective....just get your lighting correct and you are there.

Oh, and I like the tie...depsite the purpleness and the knot.

I'm going to need flash until such time as there is enough sunlight in my living room at the early hour when I do pix.

As for the tie - for a half-Windsor, it's a small knot - as for purple - maybe you're softening on that? .

There has to be a way to adjust the aperature on your camera to allow more light in. Even a simple click and shoot should have this. Get out the manual!!!

I like that color of purple, I like polka dots, and I like the non-reflective silk of that tie.
