I know it's supposed to be sort of costumey, but the guys who looked best were the ones that would have looked best if there was no contest (NOBD, Parker, Baron).
its299792458mps - The problem isn't loudness as such, but too much texture, too much pattern of the same or similar scale, and no coherent color harmonies. The jacket and the vest aren't bad by themselves, but are bad together, and the shirt adds to the problem - a shirt which I suspect was never intended to be worn with a tie (never mind a pink one).
Sorry if that was more candor than expected in one sitting.
After a look back, I do agree that the vest and jacket is too much texture. I wasn't too proud of the tie + shirt combo either. Thanks for the advice!
You're a solid white, spread collar shirt away from a truly awesome getup.
I hate posted twice when I could have posted once, but I don't know how to get two quotes in one post. - I'm a 20 yr old and this is my first time on a forum, sad isn't it.
Thanks, but idk if my round face will compliment the spread collar too well..
nothing sprezz about anything save for the suit being a 1B, peak lapel with welted pockets and no brest pocket
How unusual. Where did you get such a suit?

I like to think of it as a convention solely for the purpose of peacocking and sprezzatura-ing, that there isn't actually a tradeshow going on as well.
I got it from my boss; here was getting rid of a bunch of his clothes and I got this Jil Sander suit among a whole bunch of other stuff. Luckily for me we are just about the same size. And who knows it just might be worth something some day as my boss is somewhat well known.
Unless you count a foot and a half of snow on the ground, and salt stains on my boots, I'm afraid, I'm sitting the best sprezz competition.
Dude. That sucks. Hope you have some Amaro nearby

How many individual items of sprezz can you find in my outfit? Bonus points if you can name the SF originator of each stolen idea. Additional bonus points if you can get him to cop to it.
Don't laugh. ^ I paid $1000 dollars for that tie clip.
Lilac-- I think you're the early leader at the moment... many of the Pitti elements done well--white trou/jeans, blue blazer, jaunty tie knot, unusual shoe color, fun lapel "item", etc.
^ Thanks mate.
