Morning today (speaking at a roundtable), and then changed at lunch into something more casual for an afternoon of catching up on things, will post those later:

No human body is 100% symmetrical.
Besides it ads some character.

I have tried my best to keep quite on the shenanigans here on SF just to play nice in the sand box, but this is one of the most childish boards on the internet ... its all about posturing, buttering up and being in the good books of the big timers ... This is a ufcking message board, not HIGH SCHOOL ... stop trying to make best friends and buttering up to people on here. Grow a pair and be your own man .... and that goes to not only you, but all the other spineless weaklings who think they need to be in the bigtimer in crowd to feel like they belong. I walk/drive around the city a lot ... travel a lot ... and i can tell you, the people who dress on SF and in WAYWRN overall form a high population of the best dressed people out there ... Yes - there are some poorly dressed people on here too and i think the "good" people on this thread try to advice them to get better as long as they will accept/heed the advice. If the big timers see an increase in mediocre fits, then why cant they come out and say "hey, this is how your fit is lacking ... do x, y and z to get better" Why the F does the board exist if people dont want to help people on style, but rather feel the need to stop posting because of an increase in the praise of mediocre fits?!?! And ufck with the people dont have lives to be on this board bullisht. This board is no different than thousands of other boards out there catering to a group of people with a specific interest. Most people on those boards have jobs, wives, friends and lives ... if YOU do not have a life, say so and stop speaking for the board. its a stupid cliche!!! Increase in mediocrity my a.s.s ... post fits and advice people ... forget this bullshit buttering up and posturing to be "in"... [/rant]
nii, I think you misunderstood srivats. He said "there has been a increase in mediocrity and poor fits getting applause" and those mediocrity should be pointed out. Your rant seems to agree with exactly that.? SG was the one who said that he's sick of people being foolishly nitpicking.

I like the suiting and like the tie but not together so much. The shirt, not so much.

Add more pancakes to the diet and coast downhill. That, plus age, will plant your feet well, soon.

Onix, Dont misquote me please. Meaningless off the cuff comments from inexperienced posters get on my nerves, constructive criticisms from people who've been around for a while do not.

I seriously don't know why nii went all medival on me - when I was just pointing out what the "big timers" have been quoted as saying. I strongly disagreed with the original commenter who made that point, FWIW. I made that point to counter Skinny when he disagreed with me saying that WAYWRN has gotten better - I agree, but the noise has also increased. My point still remains that criticism (even foolish nitpicking) is better than a continous stream of "Great jacket !!!11!!!" type posts.

If nii doesn't like what I said, well I can't do anything about that. I just felt that rant against me was very surprising when we agree on the point being made. <sigh>
