I also don't think that it's too long, Mike. A good look. However, if you "feel" that it's too long, you know you won't be happy. I'm going to try and name some of the many people who's posted in the last 24 hours and I'm feeling. In no particular order: Mike - Love it. Full stop (Period). Spoo - You know! NDW - I really like everything about the fit. Excellent (if my opinion's worth anything). Gnatty - Nice looking SP and I love the tie UC - I'm really impressed with your fits and the action photos. I've not said anything before because I wasn't sure it was appropriate. Mr Crust - Consistently elegant. I've always admired your fits from the "Other" place. Considering you're in IT, you're one of the stars, clothes-wise. Acridsheep - I like the casual look. Something that I would be happy wearing to work. Acecow - Get where you're going. Not really the colour combination i'd rock. However, you're still impressing me. Banis - It would have been nice to see the jacket buttoned, but nice colours and textures. NYR - That's a strong suit and I would definitely rock it. You certainly know how to rock a "power play". Well done. Flix - Sir, I think that you're getting there. With all of the 3 roll 2 and 2 button jackets around, It's kinda unusual to see a true 3 button. Shirt cuffs could be slightly shorter and the younger people here like the no break feature on their trouser length. But well done and thanks for posting. If I've missed anyone, please forgive me. I'm really impressed with level of outfits that I've been seeing recently. I hope that I've not insulted anyone with my observations. Clint

I think he knows you're leaving and is wondering if he will make the travelling squad.

Thanks, Mike. I need to work on adjusting the pic focus to get a clearer shot. My autofocus makes it difficult...

^Thanks, Clint. I certainly do appreciate your comments and you should definitely keep posting. I like the few looks you have posted (including the flared pants one ).

Great shirt and tie.

Shirt sleeves appear a tad long (I don't think your jacket sleeves are too short.)

Overall fit is a little loose. Could be tailored a bit more at the waist and pants are a little long.

Good effort, though. You're getting close. Keep at it!

Thanks for the feedback. I actually bought the jacket recently, and have been debating whether or not to have it tailored. I think you've convinced me to go ahead and get it done.

Clint

Thanks, Clint. I still post on That Other Website, though it's getting rather lonely on their WAYWT thread - I made an appeal for more to post photos.

Today's scarf (silk jacquard backed with navy cashmere) is from Fortnum & Mason in London, when they had things made under their own label ( the scarf was bought about 9-10 years ago - now, they sell the usual designer tat for higher prices - arghhhhh). Ironically enough, I saw a dressing gown (a.k.a. a bathrobe) at Jay Kos in NYC in the same fabric about a year later.

I have several silk-lined-with-cashmere scarves - brings some flash to the business of keeping one's neck warm

It also looks a touch long but that could just be the camera angle.

I think it's the camera angle:

My comment assumed that you had already had it tailored (virtually nothing ever fits me off the rack) so I think tailoring it would probably help if you take in the waist slightly. The length doesn't bother me, but I like a slightly longer coat anyway.

EDIT: Definitely the camera angle (its not too long) - you may want to have the sleeves lengthened a tad.

Cheers ndw! I will certainly try...with my limited rotation. I was trying to hunt down an old pair of black Florshimes that I inherited from my father but I fear that they have been binned

We lost that account unfortunately, so I'm working on a new campaign for Gold Bond's line of medicated powders. "Ditch the Itch and Trash the Rash. Make Memories fond with Gold Bond"

Well, it is not a huge big deal. I like it, just wish it was a tad shorter. Not a heavy rotation item either way.

Thanks for the comments!

Again, love the hat!

Keep up the good work.

Thanks, man. I am ensconced in velvet.
