Bleachboy, I like! But let me ask you: where are you going today? I like the look, but I can't imagine a context for it.... If you're staying home, why the tie? And if you're going somewhere requiring a tie, how do you pass with the pants? Not to ruin the mood, but do tell...
PS: if the answer is that you're going nowhere but are dressing up for its own sake, power to you! Nothing like playing dress up on a cold, snowy day!

I like the boldness of the pants. You pulled it off. I'm always too self-conscious to put them on.
Deets on the tie?

This is one of the best jackets I've seen you post. Fit, fabric, proportions... all really nice. Some actual light in your photos makes a difference, too. I feel the trousers seem a little loose compared to the jacket, but there are limits to what can be done with anyone's build and your tall and thin frame will always make even very slim trousers seem a bit loose. I struggle in the opposite way, with rather podgy thighs and hips.... oh well... Keep the photos coming!

Bleachboy, can I just ask who the trousers are by? they are a great shade similar to a Gant pair I saw, but they weren't flat front. I think they work perfectly with the Knit.

You got it, dressing up for its own sake! My nieces and nephews are over today. I made them blueberry pancakes and now we're watching Despicable Me and eating popcorn. So yeah, this is just an outfit for fun.

The red cords are by Tom Ford. You can get them well under $100, or you could for a while anyway. They are really soft and comfortable, 5-pocket jean-style.
