Thanks BB - thats what i thought but the color threw me off. I thought it was a REALLY light gray flannel. This looks more like charcoal or mid-gray than light gray.
Bleachboy, is this a stepping stone suit? In other words, are you still trying to lose weight or are you at your target for happiness and sustainability?
If so, it fits okay. If not, you seem to have the resources to do better.
It's a vintage wool / alpaca Gloverall I got off eBay and had slimmed down a bit by my tailor.
Great eye to spot the potential on eBay. I think it works very nicely for you.
You also have good/flexible tailor!

I found a similar one in navy in Zara the other day, but that had a wider "shawl" to it I think. I kind of like these DB cardys, but wonder if I'd still wear them in a few years time.

Bruuns Bazaar...the collar/shawl is wider than it appears, it's not folded as much as it can be in the pictures.
