Thanks Lou.

Sammy MTM (Thanks KTown for the inspiration). My first Sammy and it exceeded my expectations. 2-button, 3-patch, unlined.

I'll have fit pics and better shots later... need my real camera and I'm wanting to break it in and niggle the fit just a little further. Right sleeve is a hair long, etc.

Spoo - nice tie. Nii - wow @ making all those patterns work together. Igor - great suit. Bleach - I think that jacket is too long, but the colors are good. Black and brown is not always a no-no. A very good last few pages. ----- Today: Pants are olive drab Mabitex in cotton, shoes are Alden Roy boots in burgundy chromexcel.

I like the look, Mike. Might have preferred a different ps, though. Maybe a nice pop of orange?

Yes, please. Never seen leather buttons like that. Very nice. Do you know where your tailor got them? Nice fabric too.

Let's play back that exchange while running it through the Civility Translator.

pcl: "Alan, have you ever considered that the large brim on that hat might not be the most flattering size for your head?"
Alan: "Thanks for the tip, pcl, but I've tried on lots of hats and this is the brim I like best."

Bought these socks months ago on sale at JCrew. Found them in the bag on a shelf while cleaning the apt yesterday with the woman...SCORE!

Today: Will be a late night. Have to prepare for a board meeting tomorrow and a presentation to college kids on Wednesday about Landlord and Police issues on campus. I need to get these buttons adjusted properly so the suit doesn't pull around the buttoning point. Normally, I am not a big 4x1 fan, but I like the illusion of height this suit gives in photos.

Had you a solid light blue or white shirt on today, would have nailed it.

BTW, that's a Polo tie?
