Totally true! Unfortunately the USA has been too busy doing stuff like inventing the Internet to catch up to the mismatched garments and too-short-sleeves trends.

this is WAYWRN ... folks take a lot of effort/time to post pictures of themselves. I doubt people are choosing the worst pictures in the lot to post.

OK, I'mma go out on a limb here for the purposes of science. I'll start a thread examining the same thing with what I think is the worst and best picture of my attire.

I'll post the link to it here once I get it started.

I haven't been commenting and/or posting for some time. Problems with the SF server on one hand and no suits or mc enoughly dressed on the other.

But here is what I was wearing today. Does it count as vintage if it is an over 20 years olds MTM suit ?

Adrian

P.S. : looking at the trousers in the pic, they need some pressing...

I hate legalese and fight it whenever I see it. Unfortunately, my bosses are from the Old School that believes judges prefer to read incomprehensible superfluous verbiage.

The waist patch pockets look small and way too low in placement.

The button stance looks off. Makes you top heavy

Overall a significant deviation from your typical decent fits.

The shoulders are completely unconstructed. No padding at all, and the jacket is unlined. Those are my shoulders you see, bro. Judging from thye buttoning point, the 2 button cuffs and the appearance of the NM label, I would say the SC is from the '60s. It is what I would call a semi-hard 3 buttoner. The lapels have a nice roll, but maybe a fresh pressing would assist.

Ugh. Fortunately, mine are new schoolers. Plain, concise and to the point. No need of reminding Judges what they "should know"....

Feeling a little under the weather today so I am casual. However, here are my crunchy Luciano Barbera cords and these new brogue boots that I picked up.

Have a good one, folks.

Well, technically I was promoted back in May, however, our firm as just signed a couple of big contracts so we'll be hirering a lot more architects and my boss is in the process of having a retrospective monograph put together, which I'll mostly be in charge of and my old space was too tight-quartered for him.
