If I told you that Glitter, starting Mariah Carrie was a horrible movie, would you ask me how me movies I've made?
Every time a disjointed looked gets negative comments, the first defense is " you just don't like color"

JP - if o/o or PG criticized Spoozy and Scorcsh i am sure (could be wrong here ... lol) they will be likelier to listen. Obviously if they dont listen then it is what it is. my point is not the criticism, cos i have criticized Spoozy a few times myself .... it is who it is coming from.
Spoo has taken great strides in his color/pattern coordination. I believe it was directly because he was criticized by people whose opinions he respected. You guys are expecting people to take opinions from someone they dont respect.
It rarely happens.

Though Diavolo has posted no pics, the consistency and nature of his comments, combined with the combinations he cites as most worthy of praise, clearly indicate his high level of taste. You may not share that same taste with him, but given his eye's level of refinement, there's almost always some truth to his comments, even if he phrases them less-than-diplomatically or in a way that seems to dismiss as incorrect all other opinions/views.

so you can deduce someone's level of refinement from his constant praise of greys/blues/whites? Show me when he has praised anything outside of a fit with grey/blue/white.

can't speak for these two guys and understood that there's a parallel world with spoozy on the german forum, where sander and me talk to him in our mother tongue... ...with no avail
i stand with d's comment about spoozy is a junior and deep in the trial and error process. nvm.
for me, it's less his colour and pattern mix, than the mix of fabrics. in general, this needs a lot of development and i'm speaking from personal experience. look, listen and learn(btw a very popular book for english lessons, when i was a schoolboy)
probably the opinion of a person that doesn't post pictures a lot is difficult to evaluate and i can understand if it wouldn't weigh in for you guys.
it's just clothes, but we love them...
nii, today's outfit is pure money. btw, i have a similar monk and it was my first and last foray in the world of monks, though i get compliments from males, huh
it's my one monk and i love him.

it's my one monk and i love him.well - maybe there is history there, so let me stop defending Spoozy and Scorch. Maybe i am naive in assuming that if someone with more credibility criticized them, they will find more value in it.
i just dont believe Diavolo is that person.
Trini - what is the advice that Diavolo gave you? Can you share? Cos maybe there is great advice he has given that i am missing.

I tried many different angles and lighting and can't, by any means been able to get the shirt's detail which is a light blue with faint pinkish stripes. BTW, that is a half windsor knot. The 4IH looked terrible, too skinny and elongated.

Not a big fan of open collar with a tie, but overall the look is good, albeit a little on the conservative side.
