Thought you might - it was last week's DTO, if I didn't wake up so late...

As a matter of fact, I was himmin & hawin over it, and in the end went with the chunky cordo's. Seemed more in line with the trad look. But I could be wrong...
Trouser's pabric and fit are nice, but overcoat looks short to me and I would have gone with a darker sportcoat for more contrast.
Thanks for a comment!) I have more longer navy blue trenchcoat too)

You can wear flamboyant colors and still be well coordinated. Far from it - i am not asking Spoo to be a continuous replay of grey/white/blue/brown ... that is not him.

I started off trying to bite this... but then changed a few elements. i was going to go with a silk tie because of FNB's post about "flannel suit and cashmere tie being too dry" but it just didnt look right. still have plans on biting yfyf's fit. the only problem is my navy flannel suit is more navy, than his british blue or whatever that color is.

rainy & muggy in the DC area today; wore one of my favorite shirts (light blue kiton altered locally by a really great tailor I like), grey polo serge trousers, polo grey wool tie, black armani collezioni rain jacket and new black ankle boots (meh...hugo boss, but they look decent and have rubber soles).
i bet knowing how much they went for in the outlet, makes it even tougher ... lol.
cant knock the hustle though.
