Niidawg and Oldtrix, stellar posts as always. I still can't figure out how 'dawg gets things to fit so well.

Finally got to break into the fall wardrobe, and shovel the spring/ summer stuff into a back closet of the guest room. one of my favorite suits for fit and cut (gray RLPL), new saks brand cashmere tie, isaia shirt, and freshly pressed juice o' the bean from the Handpresso

Thanks, the tie was an anniversary gift from Mrs. TC. I was unsure about it, but her response of "I don't give a shit if you like it or not, I picked it and it's not going back" pretty much settled it. It's growing on me. She also said she was well aware that I only choose ties in shades of blue, brown or burgundy, and that this was an attempt to expand my horizons.

I think it's a lovely tie and an excellent and sharp outfit (in an old man-ish kind of way, of course).
