Nice, Spoo - and the casual tie tells your squadron that you're a man of the people

Quoting all of this since it has a great security guard/investigator look to it. All the details add to the overall look - the pink shirt, the throat latch on the blazer, the unbuttoned collar and cuffs, the flap pocket on the shirt, the Raybans - killer look.

Details on the shirt?

Wore my security guard today and got two different compliments at two different times from two different distinct gentlemen today about how wonderful I looked and what a nice navy blue SC being a classic. Made me smile!

More than trips to New Zealand, use of the Bentley, jewelry, electronics, and "other" benefits?

Actually, not a laughing matter, if true.

Sure had a good time, this PS is one of the new items that I purchased during the trip.

Interesting feedback. Would it make any difference to your opinions if I told you I dressed like that only to go out for dinner, rather than during the day, or would that compound the sin in your eyes? I can see your points about the colours being stark for a daytime look, but for the security guard night shift(!), I think a stronger contrast is pleasant under the lower lighting level. PS. the jacket is from a suit. I don't actually have a solid navy autumn-weight jacket and the patterned navy one I have doesn't play well with those trousers.

You nailed it perfectly, right down to the red or maroon colored tie. well done.

A Polo oxford I thrifted, but it has interesting details to it that jumped out at me (madras, patches, different button) so I had to get it. Not sure if it was a special issue, or if it was someone's DIY project . I'll post some pics so those more familiar than I can shed some light on it.
