The pairing of the candy stripe shirt with the sky blue sweater makes for a wonderfully free and fanciful look. One word comes to mind: "capriccio".

The almost lime (on my screen) colored tie against that blue suit is eye catching. I like the lapels.

Superb. If I could reasonably afford a watch in this price range this would be one of my top candidates. It's one of the few date watches that I like.

We're not talking huge differences, though. Even my RTW is reworked substantially for fit...I'll have things taken apart more than most guys might attempt. Just to get a RTW collar fitted (I usually have to have the back shortened), I'll have all the collar seams opened at the neck and shoulders, then pinned until I like what I see in a three way mirror, and then resewn. And so on.

Interesting, thanks. I see a lot of people here confuse a shaped jacket with a tight fitting one. Your statements basically prove the opposite. BTW, I have made similar experience with my own pieces.

Nice surprise, Fred. I prefer Caruso's packaging though:

This morning. Blue and brown. Short cotton jacket and light jeans. And a spring scarf (do we have a thread on those?) The 'catwalk walk' is the result of freezing motion; in reality my walk is very manly of course.

They are "OTR-plus": a Dutch MTM-store has them made under their label. You pick a size and colour, and tell them what you want to have changed (length, width of the legs); they're then sent to a tailor. The alterations are included in the price.
