HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part II - Page 1016

Good morning, iGents.

Wednesday's selection is the vintage Polo USA silk herringbone and windowpane suit, BR shirt, BR tie (by request) and really cool vintage Johnston & Murphy Aristocrat wingtips. I wish I could have captured the natural antique finish on these a little better...but the light is faint this am.

Anyway, have a great Wednesday.

Mike

I like the top end here alot. Nice set of cylinder heads and induction. Bottom end needs work. I think you spun a bearing. Might have smoked the crank, Spoo.

I know you will get some love for the orange pants though. Just wait.

Thanks - they're Incotex from the frenzy about 2 years ago.

I do have short legs but I suspect it's a combo of that plus the bathroom photography.

is it possible to have your MTM suits have a slightly lower buttoning point on future commissions? i feel like the buttoning point is a tad high on this one.

Thanks gents. I can't really accept the oranje-orientated compliments, what with not actually being Dutch and all, but I'll happily accept the compliments on the fit.

As regards the button stance: This is slightly lower already than Suitsupply's house cut (yes, really) but they won't go any lower on the 2 model cuts I use for my MTM suits. Apparently there's also a 'British model' cut available with a lower button stance, but since I like the high buttoning point this is not an issue for me (this has, I think, a lot to do with the fact I often go sans tie).
