Happy New Year, gentleman.

Good night last night. New bottle opener cufflinks. New old shoes, AE longwings.

Also, bonus - I saw the attached ad while uploading the above pictures to Flickr.

I think it looks fantastic. You have a classic, subtle style that works for you very well.

OK, now I am thinking it was the building I saw in the first pic after all ... where I had the beers wasn't the actual brewery, but some building near the mall - it had some historic significance, and in the back is the garden where you can have the beers. Ring a bell?

Never posted in here before, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Props to all the great picture takers in here, I had no idea how hard it would be to get a decent shot of myself...

What I wore for New Years Eve:

I'm trying to live it up on a budget:

Shirt: Banana Republic
Sweater: Alfani
Tie: Tommy Hilfiger
Pants: CK
Watch: Skagen, classy if not cheap

^ Just change the tie knot from a Windsor to a FiH and you're golden.

I say go Half-Windsor. Very spiffy, in any case.

I had to go back and found some photos. So, in the spirit of the thread, here is what I was wearing in 2001. I remember that I found out that George Harrison died while I was in Philly ...

Welcome Spizzy. Looking good - as others have noted, experiment with a different tie know (I had to unteach myself the Full Windsor when I got to SF), but the fit is very nice.

Yep, that's south 2d street. The big building is directly to the north of City Tavern. The towers in your photo are Society Towers, are were at one time of the most exclusive places to live in the city. Still not cheap.
