Hey Moo - I'll give you the fact that the socks definitely ruin the party. Running out of non-white pairs because I'm wearing them to work everyday. Bad judgment on my part, I'm taking that pic off.

However, I don't particularly see a problem with the paisley tie + gingham shirt + jeans. It's definitely not one of my best, but at worst it falls under 'needs improvement', IMO. Perhaps you could clarify?

On a related note, I've never been able to get love for that tie on Styleforvm

I was just going to criticize the tie choice but I see it's already a sensitive subject.

I like the tie, but I don't think it works with jeans. I think it would go better with lime green linen pants, or a cream or light yellow linen suit. It's something you would see in a RL boutique. But yeah the socks really was the tipping point for me.

My spring navy blazer and vintage tie. VK Nagrani socks and my lived-in brown oxfords

it might be just me but trimming too much (skinny fit) makes your head look really big compared to the rest...

Yes - the close up shot is about the closest to real life.

Not an easy-to-pull-off look at all, but you make it seem effortless.

That's why I didn't write that it is effortless.
