It's not surprising that 0b5cur1ty doesn't favor that look--his style is not artisan. Mine isn't either, in fact mine is probably more like 0b5cur1ty's but kudos for expanding the horizons. Any pics of others you've been inspired by? Next time take the pic next to one of your works?

If you check his home page and/or Google him, he appears to be a quite prominent Dutch painter and very much a traditionalist in his art if not his clothes.

Cheers my friend. The jacket is part of the suit I wore on Monday. Nothing too special, just cheapo H&M suit.

PM'd you.

Breaking out the white before Memorial Day, Nii?

Yep - Michigan. One of my co-workers was showing me where he grew up and where his parents live now. Oh btw - the pants are actually cream/off-white ... lol.

Hilarious, Nii Keep rocking the white. NYR, remember to tuck in your chin and go for the left hook followed by a groin shot. Maury's men won't know what hit them. Thanks Spoo (dig the ensemble today and Ktown (I think I have the same JCrew pullover in seafoam green).

They're Lobbs, in pewter museum calf. The patina is a little more vivid than I would like, to be entirely honest, courtesy of applying a little too much black shoe polish one time. I'd like to tone it down a touch over time.

Thanks for the other comments too.

New shirt today. First of my latest order from Sartorial Executive & straight out of the box; haven't washed it yet so a smidgen loose in a few places. The first wash always fixes that. Couldn't resist mixing a bit of blue & yellow today...

Do his parents live in that northwestern area at the top of the "mitten"? Leland oir Traverse City perhaps (my fiancee visited that area last August).

And surprisingly harmonious they are too

Looking good as usual Holdfast - be interested to hear how the shirt develops after a few washes.
