It appears to me that PG is smaller than old dog and that's why there is more of a gap between old dogs.

1. Get Alden shoes back from restoration
2. Marvel at quality of work, especially soles
3. Forget to scratch soles before going out on rainy day
4. Summarily fall down stairs and scratch the shit out of my shell cordovan
5. Hope the day gets better from here.

liked them better before.

imo, B. Nelson replacing the heel leather patch would have done the trick.

sockliner was leather, now it's "plastic". horses for courses, i guess.

just my two cents

Spoo - great combinations and nice knot aside, can you breathe?

I've enjoyed your posts.

Thanks guys. I too thought it worked but do see where he was coming from in terms of stripes and patterns, which had not been a big feature in my most recent fits.

So as for today: Inverted security guard or big band leader? You decide...

And I think you found my favorite place for sunset and a burger (great bloodies too): City View? Love that place.

Thx for the tip. Yes - City View ... great place. We couldnt eat since we were going to be going to Montgomery Inn later that night. Will check out the burger next time we make it back.

Not today, but yesterday. All day long in a settlement conference in federal court.

This is a new acquisition, another Chester Barrie era RLPL double breasted. This one is a very fine black and white nailhead. Light weight material and very comfy. This is probably my favorite of my three RLPL DBs. I think it fits the best as well, but what do I know. LOL.

Shirt is Polo, Regent Custom Fit.
Tie is my new favorite Brooks Brothers and shoes are Cole-Hahn Collection wingtips.

Have a great Wednesday.

Mike
