I'm not condoning driving while shit faced, but are you also angry when an 80 year old with bad eyes, bad hearing, slow motor reflex function and mild cognitive loss gets behind the wheel? If so, leave Boca now. Hell, leave the sun belt now.

I grew up on Longboat Key, Florida which has a tightly patrolled and waaaaay too slow 45 mph speed limit stretch of Gulf of Mexico drive. The old folks would drive 35mph and it would drive my brother and I crazy. The only thing I did not like about the Sarasota/Bradenton area.

Of course I am. Every non-geriatric is angry the way people drive down here. I've been trying to leave Boca ever since I graduated. Would you like to help find me a job elsewhere so I can finally, once and for all, leave?

If you're an RN, I'll set you up with a nice paying job Monday.

For a job that leads nowhere, I wouldn't be good at and I have no interest in doing? No thanks. I hope you understand the ridiculousness of telling someone that has BA's and 10 years experience to go get a lesser degree to get hired for a lesser position?

And by lesser I mean in terms of job satisfaction, promotion possibility and responsibility.

An RN has less responsibility than someone in marketing?

First of all: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread...94#post2855294 Secondly: high up enough in the ladder and you are responsible for A LOT of people, depending on the company, it could be thousands.

Well first, so how's all that working for you lately?

Second, you could not be more wrong in just about every way.

As compared to what? Going back to get a degree that I don't want, in a field I don't care about, which I wouldn't be good at? And please don't use the monetary aspect as the end-all-to-be-all of employment. Anyone who works just for the paycheck and not for at least some job satisfaction isn't happy at work.

ORLY... care to explain that blanket statement?

What's your degree in?

Weren't you the one that got angry about drunk drivers because they might hit and kill someone? Being an RN that is actually responsible for human lives is going to have to rank higher than a person that supervises the work of a thousand office workers. Or am I missing something?
