I got a new car. - Page 8

I thought by bennies Pio meant "benzedrine", which Jon. could use.

Jon., I love you (no soy ghey) but there are a lot more well-paying jobs out there for RNs than for kids with marketing degrees. _If_ you end up actually using your degree and working in marketing and _if_ you are successful in marketing ten years, then maybe you might be in a position of responsibility, but my understanding is that some entry-level marketer might make a bit more than half what a qualified RN entry-level job pays. Not to mention that RNs are responsible for their patients' health and lives, while in the beginning marketing kids might be at most responsible for keeping someone else's coffee warm. However, my guess is that far more marketing kids might be responsible for keeping coffee warm at Starbucks or McDonald's than at some marketing firm.

A bit like law that way. Strangely glamorous for people who don't do it, oversupplied in realiTTTy, with only a tiny iceberg tip that actually has a supposedly glamorous job title, and only another, different, tiny tip that finds law rewarding.

However did you leap from drunk driving to an occupation?

Responsible for the livelihoods of thousands > Responsible for the life of one person.

(no soy ghey made me )

I understand. However, as I mentioned before, a job isn't just about money and whilst in this economy I would probably end up in some entry level position due to the lack of positions, once better times come around I have the experience to acquire a good middle-managment position, if not director level.

^ Good point. Let's stop talking about Jon's under employment and anger at various drivers, and get back to Matt's nice new car.

Well, considering an RN might be the one in a hospital helping to save a person hit by the drunk driver... pretty easy leap.

That's the thing, a RN isn't just responsible for the life of one person. You should go tell the RNs that are down in Haiti right now that being responsible for the livelihood of thousands carries more responsibility than them helping those thousands. You probably should have just left the "responsibility" part off the end of your original statement.

Agreed. I think we should find out how much sausage, foie, and wine can fit in his new car.

Ok, then degrees... what are they in? Back to the OP: what options did you get? Did you get the Sline kit?

And by lesser I mean in terms of job satisfaction, promotion possibility and responsibility.

a long time ago j recommended that you seek therapy. i didn't get it at the time, but now i do.
