Due to his reaction to my informing him about shell cordovan, shoe brands, etc. my enthusiastic cousin, age 30, has started a blog to educate young men regarding finer clothing and shoes. He wants me to contribute. Having enjoyed some accomplished bloggers in the clothing realm, I'm very reluctant. I've told him that I think other blogs like Sartorialist, etc do it better than I could and that my knowledge was gained through reading and answering posts on SF, AAAC, selling and buying.
I'm sure there are many on SF who could blog very well. I'm not confident that my meager limited information wouldn't peter out after a few posts.
He's friends with a fmr Jermyn St. tailor who will probably also be a contributor. I think my cousin is exploring ways to make money while dispensing info to young New England executives who, although wearing Canali and Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece, think Cole Haan, square toe Aldo and Johnston & Murphy are finer footwear. Your opinions on the viability of such an enterprise are welcome.
