This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it.

I just came across a bunch of old photos that I want to digitize. Any recommendations for something fast, cheap and small that will have decent picture quality?
I've used the fujitsu scan snap..not super cheap though, about $400. They have portable versions that have auto-feeders for around $250....but the full sized scanned photos pretty well actually.
Have it done and saved to a memory stick and spend the money you save (by not buying one) on Photoshop to do your touch ups. Every time I get one scanned, it always has some amount of speckles from dust or something on them.
Canon Lide is ok and super thin. Though if you want better quality some HPs have 96-bit color depth and run usually about 3 man en, but they are bulky. Do you have the negatives or slides still? If so go for a neg scanner and really get some quality out of them.
