I'm was never REALLY a "banka" banker, and my career has taken me to some interesting places both in finance and outside.
I'm actually in a sort of transitional period right now, interested to see where I will end up in a year or two.
Like I said, you should have enough energy in your 20s to work and play, despite the hours, and it's a lot easier to get by on shit pay when you're young. I mean I probably had 3 nights this week with 4 or less hours of sleep, and it's fine. I'll probably get some more rest on the weekend. I could have gotten more like 6-7, but I still wanted to party/hang out/drink/fuck/etc. Compromises.
