Laptop keyboard problem

This morning I noticed that several keys (c, m, a couple of others and all of the numbers) on my laptop simply didn't work. I didn't spill any liquids on it and the keyboard was working well 12 hours ago. Now since most of the keys are working I assume it's an issue with the membrane under the keys. Should I attempt to remove the keyboard and clean it or just order a replacement? Note: laptop is an ASUS w3j. Bought it in 2006.

Next time masturbate into a small trash basket under your computer desk, or into a condom. Not onto your keyboard. I'm also not surprised that you only made it to the bottom row of keys with your diminutive size. On my keyboard, it's the function keys that are sticky.

Haha, seriously though. Are there crumbs underneath preventing you from pushing them down? Or are they completely unimpeded? You may have to just buy a replacement keyboard and snap it into place.

No crumbs. I don't remember spilling anything on it last night, and I would because I wasn't even drinking. So wtf happened? I'll probably have to just get a new board from ASUS.

It could just be dust, dead skin cells, etc.

Have you already tried canned air?

If canned air doesn't do the trick, try popping those keys out, and then wipe with Q-tips + alcohol. Just be very careful not to break those keys...
