I think that selection privileges should only go to people who actually listen to most of the albums other people pick.

Great idea. I posted 3 guys already for the next few weeks I'll pick randomly from someone who bothered to comment on the albums thread. If everyone who commented has already been picked then I'll run the random number generator. Anyway I've updated the list with everyone that has shown interest in this thread. I'll update it with the links to the albums as well.

I can't believe the idea of posting a list so everyone can see where they're at is that difficult. If someone flakes or isn't participating, skip them. Simple and easy.

You're going to run into people not participating because they don't see that they're getting to play. If they know they have the DJ spot in a few weeks, they're apt to participate.

Okay, I went through and wrote down a list of everyone who even vaguely participated in the albums thread and was on the initial list, randomized it, and started a new thread.

I folded the people who'd already picked back in, hope no one objects.

After these 23-24 people are done (and some will surely be skipped), I'll start the process over again.
