Threak is just an intentional mis-spell of thread. Can't remember exactly how it evolved, but I seem to remember a moran mis-spelling thread, and it stuck.

Never had the Mitolo, but my favorite Shiraz is also from McLaren Vale. It's Pikkara, a Red Heads Studio product. Are you familiar with the Red Heads Studio story? Quite interesting.
