I heard Mike Leach is looking for a job.

A sad day for Trojan fans. He sure did a wonderful job at ol' SC.

On reflection, this has to be the most inane post I have ever made. Talk about stating the obvious!

As a 49er and UCLA fan, I see this as win-win.

There are some coaches who are better in college than in the pros and there are some coaches who are better coordinators than head coaches (Buddy & Rex Ryan also Norv Turner) Seattle isn't even anywhere near contending...this will end badly for Carroll.

I said all I needed to say last night in the NFL thread.

Hell yeah, this year we will be drafting a tackle, Taylor Mays and a DT. Tank next year and grab Jake Locker. Keep Hasselbeck around as a mentor then in 2013 be a dominating force. By then Branch, Julius, Lofa, Kearny, Marcus Trufant and all those other overrated mofos will be gone. The future is Locker, Forsett and Carlson Random Seatown Ranting I know.

Slim's favorite part- the uniforms. They also must go.

SF should design them. See if Kiton can make something extra durable.

Would be a great offensive coordinator.

What's with Seattle and college coaches. The Dennis Erickson experiment worked so well they want to do it again?

Maybe SF should redesign your uniform first.

It's beyond my comprehension why Carroll would leave USC for an NFL job. I mean, how much money do you need? What kind of gratification is he going to get by working with salaried grown men versus kids who have a different level and quality of enthusiasm? Lastly he's already adored by his fan base in a city that considers the Trojans its pro team.

Well, if the five-year investigations of the Reggie Bush debacle ever wraps up, USC could be in for a shitstorm.

He is running away.

It will get a bit tougher now that Carroll has to coach against players that are also getting paid.
