I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I just can't get a proper answer.
Jeans that fit well with driving loafers/mocs just seem too short on "proper" shoes..
I know it's a big no-no and also very annoying to have to keep stepping on them with my "flat"shoe heel but then they are ok with "heeled" shoes..HELP!

A joke.

They are garters, you use them for holding up socks or stockings. I think some old school soldiers use something similar to adjust the bottoms of their trousers, but unless you are cinching you jeans up above combat boots they probably wouldn't help you.

get a 2nd pair of jeans and match them to whatever shoes you're gonna wear.

I have no problems that my jeans stack more with flat casual shoes (converse) than with dress shoes. If the proper length, the one inch heel difference should not result in you stepping on the hem when using your flat shoes.

But if you really care, you'll have to do what my gf does - have certain jeans for flat shoes that are hemmed shorter and other jeans specifically hemmed for heels/boots.
