Any popular or logo-centric name , particularly Armani, Dunhill, Gucci, Vuitton, Hermes, etc.

Zegna and almost all designer jeans.

Stay away from RLPL unless the seller is one of the following:

Wtang, RLPL67, Polosphere, Stockdaleauctionsgallery. Or of course one of the better-known forum members. That's my experience.

I want to recommend another seller for Purple Label: Ebay ID: jaybconnor

He stocks up at the Polo outlets and is really great to deal with, and there was no question (in my mind) about authenticity.

I come also to praise RLPL67. A very good seller.

I trust nothing on eBay anymore. Unless I have personal experience with a particular brand I don't even bother to bid for it on eBay.

Most of the above brands are more likely to be legit if the seller is selling only one or two of the item, pre-owned.

Come to think of it, that's what I do!

If the seller has scores of the item in a rainbow of colors or wide variety of sizes, and the price is too good to be true, then it almost always is.

I'm surprised nobody's said it yet, but I wouldn't touch "Burberry" on ebay with a 10ft bargepole.

I would generally agree with those that have suggested that it is the quality of the seller that matter more than the label.
